The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Cam Fowler to a three-year contract, likely putting the first-round draft pick on a fast track to the NHL. The Ducks announced the deal Wednesday. Anaheim drafted Fowler with the 12th overall selection last month after the projected top-five pick unexpectedly fell several spots.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed veteran left wing Josh Green to a one-year contract. Anaheim announced Monday that Green will return to North America after spending last season with Modo in the Swedish Elite League. The 32-year-old Green has played for eight NHL teams, scoring 74 points in 322 career games.
