Pekovic leads Wolves to 86-84 win over Kings (AP)

Montenegro center Nikola Pekovic is emerging as a force in the middle of a resurgent Minnesota Timberwolves, leading them to a third straight win in the NBA by 86-84 over the Sacramento Kings late Tuesday. Pekovic had 23 points and 10 rebounds to help the Wolves to equal their best start to a season since 2005 with a 13-12 record.
